Out in a shirt again, when will this weather end ? Another fine day in wales . Jim, Wayne, Ray, Mike, Garry, Me & Mark on his first outing. Starting from Glyn Ceiriog up the hill to Alty badi. We split up here not wanting to take Mark down on his first ride [alty seems to be deteriorating rapidly, I can see it getting closed again soon ] meeting up at the next lane [365 to 353]. Heading down towards castle mill, zig zag back towards pontfadog. Across the main road up to starlings castle , down to the main rd & dinner in the glyn valley hotel. The afternoon was spent heading towards the pen y gwely reservoir & to the pheasant steps. We left Mike here to return to the cars with bike trouble. Heading down the steps & round to Llanarmon. Heading up to Tyn y celyn down the goat towards Pandy. We split up here , Me Mark & Garry going back up to the top road to finnish of down 375 to Ceiriog & a pint.

Some fantastic lanes were rode, expertly guided by our very own Shercote hes a star and kept us all on a tour of some new lanes to me between Llanarmon and Chirk . Alti Badi claimed once again a member of our group and sucked him to the ground but no harm done , just alti doing his thing. We all ahem , rode the goat and i turned around only to find my toolpack was missing , no idea when it went but Tony ,his bro in law and me went back in search while the rest took a rest , very pleased when we returned with it. Lunch in Glyn Ceirog and a top up with fuel saw us all on a voyage of discovery up and over some great lanes with no more incidents brought us to the end of a great days riding. Thankyou Tony for leading and us all for the company and entertainment value. Recommended and cheers all round Wayne

Hi, the Bike didn't let me down, but I was concerned it might. Probably all in my head. Anyway it's sold now and I'll be on the Puzey for the foreseeable future and I have bought another Puzey (non-runner) as a donor bike.
