I've got a 4mm dia. hole in my plastic petrol tank. It's in the side of a hole that should house a retaining nut for the radiator plastics. I want to block it up and put another retaining nut in afterwards, any ideas? Is silicone sealant petrol resistant?
Cheers

hi mike would it be possible to make / buy a leather washer that you could tighten with a bolt, knut and washer. this could maybe both seal the leak and fasten the plastic. or google plastic tank repairs. cheers wayne

Hi Mike You can also make a great effective plastic tank repair using a hot soldering iron and some coloured tie wraps. see my post on the Hellifield rideout section 31st oct 15 cheers Wayne 01744 628239 St Helens
